1. Star Trek: Enterprise - Season One (2001)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Enterprise starts with an intriguing concept, and perhaps it’ll live up to expectations in future years. However, Season One offers only sporadic entertainment. The series has some good episodes, but too much of the time it just doesn’t feel like Star Trek. Starring Scott Bakula, Jolene Blalock. Paramount, $129.99, 5/3/2005.

2. Star Trek: Fan Collective - Captain's Log (2007)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While prior Star Trek “Fan Collective” compilations focused on specific guest characters, races or themes, Captain’s Log lacks the same coherence. Nonetheless, I like the way it spans all five series and digs into the efforts of all the captains. It certainly offers a solid roster of shows, as most of them stand amount the best Trek. Starring William Sha

3. Star Trek: Enterprise - Season Two [Blu-Ray] (2002)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I know that Enterprise never earned much of an audience, but I don’t think that was because of the series’ quality. Like all Trek, Season Two is erratic, but it improves on Season One and offers a lot of good material. The Blu-rays offer decent picture, positive audio and a nice array of bonus materials. Though the mediocre visuals were a bit of a disapp

4. Star Trek: Enterprise - Season Four (2004)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I went into Enterprise with fairly low expectations, but I must admit I rather liked it. It developed into something different within the Trek universe and was getting better when it got its premature axe. Season Four offered a lot of unusual threads and worked pretty well. Starring Scott Bakula, Jolene Blalock. Paramount, $129.98, 11/1/2005.

5. Star Trek: Enterprise - Season Two (2002)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Season One had its moments but was too inconsistent to really draw me in to its characters and situations. This improves during Season Two. Sure, it still isn't terribly consistent, but I can say the same of virtually every Trek series. Season Two shows Enterprise on the upswing and serves to give us a good year of Trek. Starring Scott Bakula, Jolene Bla

7. Behind The Candelabra [Blu-Ray] (2013)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While often fairly entertaining, Behind the Candelabra leaves a bad taste. I don’t mind the movie’s sex sequences; while I don’t enjoy them, they don’t bother me. However, I think the film seems one-sided and one-dimensional. The Blu-ray delivers generally good picture and audio but lacks notable bonus materials. Let’s hope Steven Soderbergh reneges on h

8. Star Trek: Enterprise - Season Three [Blu-Ray] (2003)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Too bad only one year of Star Trek: Enterprise remains. The series got moving well in Season Three, as the year featured an interesting running story and a lot of good shows. The Blu-ray offers mostly positive visuals and audio along with a satisfying set of supplements. I like this season of Enterprise and feel the Blu-ray serves it well. Starring Scott

9. Star Trek: Enterprise - Season Three (2003)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I wouldn’t call Season Three of Enterprise the best year of any Trek series, but it stands as one of the more ambitious. The overriding story line about the Xindi usually adds depth and drama to the season. At times it falters, but I think it succeeds more often than it drags. This is a solid year that makes me look forward to Season Four. Starring Scott
